Summer Art Gang
3rd ANNUAL SUMMER ART GANG!
The Summer Art Gang, a fun and creative community for youth to explore different art projects and techniques. All sessions take place at the art buildings on University of Nebraska Lincoln’s campus.
- Easy drop off and pick up in Sheldon’s parking lot!
- Bring a sack lunch!
- All art supplies are provided.
The Art Gang is a supportive and inclusive community where creative types (8-15 yrs old) can express themselves freely and have fun while creating.
Class topics are subject to change, classes meet every other Wednesday:
- May 29th 11:00-1:00: Watercolor Animal Tassellation
- June 12th 11:00-1:00: 3D Cardboard Sculpture
- June 26th 11:00-1:00: Painting with Gold Leaf
- July 10th 11:00-1:00: Printmaking Portrait
- July 24th 11:00-1:00: Mosaic Animals
- August 7th 11:00-1:00: Foam Printed Flowers
SHE CAN STAY CONNECTED WITH THE SOCIAL APP
Your artist will be part of a special group with her new friends. They can use the app to talk, share art, and be part of a group of girls who share similar interests on days when we don’t meet in person.
The Art Gang App has:

– Reminders before each event
– Daily drawing challenges
